Version 0.12 Changes

Build notes for  version  0.12:

New Content and Changes:

I'm implementing three global changes to the game.  You will be able to experience all three in this release, but none have been completely implemented everywhere in the game, but will as sections of the game get updated:

1.  The first opening choice is new: Choose between bringing a swimsuit, or a nice jacket.  Your avatar, regardless of gender, wears a casual blue shirt and black pants that is fine for the date, but not to go to the fancy restaurant. You need to bring a jacket to look nice enough. But that means you won't have a swimsuit to swim in. You can always try swimming naked, and later in the game this is a valid choice, but early on, Ariane will toss you out.  So choose wisely!
2.  I am starting to implement rules regarding what the player wears.  Basic rule is that if Ariane chooses to change her dress status, you might be able to change yours, too.  During "make out" sessions you will be forced to match Ariane, and away from the house, you will most likely not be able to -- depending.  But inside the house or backyard, you can choose to or leave your clothes on. One reason why you might want to leave them on: In situations where Ariane might be OK leaving the house partially nude, she won't be if you are also partially nude.  These rule changes have not been fully implemented everywhere yet, they have in the areas that have new images.
3. Ever since the HD version I have been using "sprites". These are a common item in visual novels, where you can use a picture of a character with no background, and load up different backgrounds, drastically reducing the need for new images. HD used redundant sprites to compensate for the different lighting conditions. I'm getting rid of the redundant sprites and using little known "image matrix" commands to adjust the brightness and contrast of the sprites in different locations. All sprites are rendered with bright lights, and then the sprites are made darker depending on your setting. Indoors are fully bright, I have adjusted the patio and front yard (goodbye) sprites, but sprites in other parts of the game are going to look way too bright.

Updated Renders:

• "Sprites" used throughout the game have been updated.
• Background pictures used by sprites that haven't been redone yet, have been enlarged.
• Livingroom dance change, added a "sway" animation to slow dances.
• Map images, the ones where Ariane asks what you want to do next, have been updated.  These are no longer dependent on previous activity, just dependent on what Ariane is wearing, and are set throughout the living room to add variety.
• Updated all images where Ariane is entering the bedroom to change clothes, and bathroom to do whatever.
• Updated shower scenes.
• Updated all images relating to end of the date when you say goodnight at the door, except the Rebecca ending
• Updated all the images set in the kitchen: drinking wine, drinking beer, removing clothes, making out, ordering pizza, etc.
• Updated all the player avatars that appear at the bottom when you say something, also created full body versions in different states of dress that are seen whenever you change clothes.  I'm coding these to make it easier to add variants in the future.
• Pachisi end game board, dice and pieces.

Known issues:

• Basketball shooting is misaligned, you will see white sections when you mouse over the places to shoot which don't match to where they should be. This will not get fixed until the park images get updated
• Dress shop game images are misaligned.  Mousing over the image will reveal the 12 areas for you to click on, but they are not directly over the racks.
• All non-updated sections will only show male body parts.

Priorities for next update (not completed yet but will be done next):

• Finish all Kitchen and living room images.
• "Table" images: Pizza and Steak dinners, dessert "spin the bottle", Pachisi game, Absinthe
• Couch make out scenes with both male and female hands, including sex animation
• Rebecca scenes that take place in the kitchen or living room including post strip club
